Just wanted to start off my saying a big Happy New Year to all my followers. I have been lucky enough to have a win already from one of the Advent Competitions I entered and am entering more then ever whilst i’m off work. Check out pic below for what I was thrilled to win from Retrochick.
As always I will keep you all updated and let me know of any wins you get. I will also be hosting a new give away on my other blog site where I have more hints and tips and regular updates.
Christmas is almost upon us and they will be many a FB Advent competition to enter. Below are some tips on how to enter as many as possible.
- Start searching these out as soon as you can and save them to your desktop or set up a folder where you access them easily. There are so many you are bound to forget some of them so this does help.
- Enter as many as you can, as regularly as you can.If you miss a day you can’t go back to enter.
- Some sites have a Pass the Parcel like M&S and Sanctuary Spa. Send as many invites as you can to your friends and hopefully they will gift you back. Some FB groups have been added to help with this so have a word with your comping friends to get added 🙂
- Many of these are instant prizes, don’t be dissappointed if you open a door to find nothing, there’s always tomorrow 🙂
As always good luck and don’t forget to share what you’ve won on here x

Hi all! I’m back and feeling replenished after my week in the Canary Islands. Lanzarote is such a beautiful place to visit…I should know after being there 4 times in just over a year!!
Anyway I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you that took the time to enter my first giveaway and a big congratulations to Jackie O’Neill who won. Prize will be sent out shortly.
Not many big wins to report to you all but I’ve been lucky enough to win some small prizes – Bic Razors, Skinisis Facialift, £25 Amazon voucher and some CODE Mascara. Hopefully I’ll get a big win soon.
Keep your eyes peeled for a new competition soon.
So were mid month and no wins for me. I’ve been ill and have tried to catch up with as many competitions as physically possible but still nothing. As I mentioned in my previous post I have been without the Internet for a few weeks so it’s probably due to the fact that i haven’t been able to enter as many as I normally would.
On a brighter note it’s my birthday on friday and I’m off back to Lanzarote the weekend after so all is good. Just a little win would make my day!
When I return I will be drawing the winner of my competition and hopefully hosting another one since this one has gone really well.
If there is anything you would like to see on my blog then please let me know and i’ll try to help.
6 days in and 0 wins for me. Not a good start but if previous months are anything to go by then I could be laughing. I’m having difficulty entering as many this month as i’m in the middle of changing my internet connection and have been left without access for a week. I’m currently having to borrow my parents computer to update this!
My first competion is going well with over 400 entries and counting and I’m hoping to launch lots more giveaways over the coming months.
For now i’ve not got alot to say but hopefully i’ll be able to post some wins soon!
September’s here and so a new comping month begins. Although it’s always the same routine, finish month end (normally tearing hair out to get it done in time) and starting the new month off slowly, I’m sure we all look forward to the possible wins ahead. It’s my birthday this month so I’m hoping for a big win, fingers crossed.
Nothing is guaranteed in the comping world but I do generally find the more I enter the more I win. Having a Facebook and Twitter account help for accessing those quick competitions and the more adventurous
of us can enter skill based competitions where more effort is required. I personally haven’t got round to doing these yet. Yes, the prizes are bigger and better but having the time to make a movie or create a Pinterest Board is something I don’t have the time for whilst working full-time and entering regular competitions.
For those of you who haven’t got into comping yet here are a few tips on how to get started….
Comping is free on most sites and take little effort to sign up. I use the following:
- The Prize Finder
- MSE Competition Forums
All links to these sites are at the bottom of my blog page.
Facebook competitions are usually the easiest to enter with Like and Share competitions, Rafflecopter and Sweepstakes. Always check the terms and conditions. You don’t want to win a prize only to find you’ve not met the requirements. Some of these may not be valid to UK residents whilst others specify 1 entry only.
Twitninja takes the hassle out of finding Twitter competitions and re-tweets on your behalf.
If you use Google Chrome you can adjust your settings to Auto-fil Web forms. Simply go to Settings/Advanced/Passwords and Forms and click Enable Auto-Fil and Manage Auto-fil settings. Enter your details and next time you enter a competition it should fill your details in automatically.
Enable Auto-fill to fill in web forms in a single click. Manage Auto-fill settings
Offer to save passwords I enter on the web. Manage saved passwords
Downloading Roboform is another way to quickly enter your details.
Whatever site you decide to use and no matter how much time you invest, a win will come eventually.
